Product Attribute Fields

Hi  There. 
we have a requirement to store the downstream product codes in Siebel. Some of the downstream system products are configured as attributes in Siebel product model. In order to save the downstream product codes, we want to utilize the XA integration Id field (INTEGRATION_ID column in S_ISS_OBJ_ATTR) .  Here we are able to store the in value in S_ISS_OBJ_ATTR , but the same value is not being copied in Order Item XA  with new order. 

I would like to know whether this is the product behaviour (limited fields will be copied) or any other properties need to be enabled so that the value gets copied into S_ORDER_ITEM_XA as well.
