2 Node 11g R2 RAC on windows 2008 Server and Vmware 5.1

Hi,

We are in the process of creating a 2 node 11g R2 RAC database on Windows 2008 Server for our business critical 24 x 7 applications.

The environment will be configured in a virtual environment running on Vmware 5.1 Enterprise version

 

We would greatly appreciate if we can get some feedback / pointers on this configuration including any pros or cons especially as it relates to performance and reliability since this will be a true

 24 x 7 OLTP production database
