DM-DIAMETER : Adding Custom Fields defination for Diameter

A DM-Diameter (Diameter Balance Manager (DBM)) flow usually starts with the CM sending over a FList to the PreProcessingPipeline of the DBM. This FList is then converted to appropriate Diameter message and sent over to the network.

 

The OOB solution of DBM by default supports a certain number of commonly used fields in the FList and their appropriate mappings. In addition to the default fields, the user can add additional custom fields to the FList that is sent over to the DBM. If that is the case, certain configuration changes would have to be done on the DBM side as well.
