Status on Bug 12731665 new Swiss VAT number logic

hello

is there any news on Enhancement Request 12731665 ? We have a hard requirement at the end of this year to show the correct VAT Registration nr on Sales Invoices. As there is a validation in the VAT Number field we are currently unable to do so without additional set up / customization. For example: use a flexfield to capture the VAT Number and adjust the AR Invoice print program.

This is not recommended
