Workplan Dates - Notifications

Hi all,

I have a workplan with several task and start and finish dates. I need to generate a notification to the task or project manager with let's say one month before the start date of a task. How can I achieve this? The workplan does not have versioning enabled and also approval of workplan is not required.

Any ideas will really help!
