Pay Type that does not affect Gross Pay

Q:  How do you set up a pay type that does not affect gross pay?

A.  On Pay Type Setup, there is a field called 'Effect on Gross'.  Leave that field blank and the dollars associated with the pay type will be added to net pay only.
