Mass update of PO Lines status code

Hi,
Is there a way to mass update the status code in purchase order line (Last status (LTTR) and next status (NXTR)) form a value to another value ?
Do we use SQL script or is there a standard batch ?

If SQL script, please can you provide the script ?
