Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. ASCP installation and configuration in decentralized environment.

Hi,

We have EBS R12.1.3 on linux server with seperate DB and APPS servers.

Now we have ASCP to be configured but we don't have seperate server for it,I udnertsand that there are two approach to it

1)Centralized,Keep on same machine...any major disadvantages of keeping it centralized??

2)Decentralized- Keep on different server.

Can any one pl help how to configure the ASCP in a sperate server with steps for installation and how to link it to EBS source isntance.

We also have Demantra/OTM etc...so will the centralized configuration actually help better than the decentralized one?
