Hello Murthy:

Welcome to the new EBS Patching community.

This thread will address your following question -

When we use patch wizard tool for a patch impact analysis, it shows '.o' files in the impacted files, and it lists them as new files. However, we have the same files with '.obj' extension. So, we are concerned that the '.obj' file may not be updated, when the patch is applied, but instead, a new '.o' file may be created (this is how it is reflected in AD_FILES and AD_FILE_VERSIONS tables also). This may cause the patch application incorrect.
