Premade profile preference for zfs using 2530 - M2
Hello, I have just setup a x4170 m3 controlling a 2530 M2 array, and will be using it as a zfs server for 14+Tb data, no DB usage, and I saw in the 2530 Array it had prebuilt profiles.
My normal mode of operation would choose the raid6 profile and create one large disk with one hot spare. (my 2530 is populated with slower 3TB drives for extra large capacity being most important).
However, I see that it also has a "zfs" prebuilt profile, which uses 128k, whereas the raid6 uses 512k.
I have typically preferred using the hardware raid over a software raid, but with zfs I wanted some experienced knowledge with this, as I know zfs offers its own built in raid feature set.
