Asset and Equipment at the same time

HI

can we create an asset in eam and it is also an equipment as the same time. example i have a drill machines for doing civil work but on the other way i also want to maintain that drill machine. so drill machine is an equipment so i can use it in work orders as resource and for maintaining that drill machine i want to create work order on that so it also have to be asset or rebuildable.
