Sending an email through a business rule

Hi all,

We've a business rule that update the cotization of the money, and few times the users change the cotization to view a simulation at the same time when somebody was generating a calcule using the old value, later, when the users compare the calcs with the number of the cotization the numbres dont match and they does not know why.

Because of that we've the idea of  sending an email through a business rule everytime we run this rule.

Is that posible? How can I do it??
