Applying RMAN incremental backups

 I have a tricky situation. I have two databases, one on Oracle 11gR2(11.2.0.1) and the other on Oracle 9i (9.2.0.8). Now my problem is I want to apply the RMAN incremental backups Oracle 11g to oracle 9i database. Firstly, is this possible? If possible, please let me know how to go ahead with this.
