ASSET Organization Assigned to Business Group by mistake

We accidentally assigned an asset organization to a business group instead of an operating unit.  This is apparently preventing access to all other organizations through any HRMS org form .  We need to know quickly how to reverse the harm done if this is indeed the issue.
