DSNO/ASN Corrections after Ship Confirm

Is there a way within Oracle Apps to make corrections to a previously generated ASN and re-extract from ECG?  I seem to recall a Menu Option called ASN Corrections a couple years ago, but cannot locate that, if it existed, either under OM Menu Options or Shipping Execution.  In all cases I've had to correct the DSNO Flat File and then resend to translator.  Is there another easy way to make corrections, or is this the only way, assuming "ASN Corrections" is a myth and I am mistaken.
