ORA-27102: out of memory SVR4 Error: 12: Not enough space

 Hi, I am getting:
ORA-27102: out of memory
SVR4 Error: 12: Not enough space

when starting the database.
My sys admin has checked all the memory parameters in oracle project and everything looks good, except I can't start the database.  Actually I can't start two different databases, on two different zones, under the same global zone.
Is it possible that some kernel parameter is not set correctly, or some settings in the project.
I can provide the content of the projct, or any file reqiested.
The environment is Solaris SPARC 10, oracle 11gR1
