Siebel Sync Support by Oracle

I had heard in a conversation with a Siebel Support engineer some time ago that Oracle will be discountinuing support for Siebel Sync starting this quarter. We currently use Siebel 8.1.1.6 and wanted to use Siebel Sync with the PIM software as Lotus Notes. Given that CRM Desktop for Lotus Notes is scheduled to arrive sometime by the end of year, we wanted to confirm on when Oracle will be discontinuing support of Siebel Sync.
