Should Reservation Time Fence work on Sales Orders imported from a feeder system?

 Dear All,

 When we set the Profile Option 'OM: Reservation Time Fence' in R11i to a number greater than zero, and import sales order from a feeder system without entering any data to OE_RESERVTNS_IFACE_ALL table (since the setup is done to reserve entered orders automatically), should the sales order get reserved automatically when it’s entered or this is not the functionality and we should fill the OE_RESERVTNS_IFACE_ALL table? or it should get reserved but there’s something else that should be done in the setup?

 We have tried to import an order without filling data in OE_RESERVTNS_IFACE_ALL but it did not get reserved while ‘OM: Reservation Time Fence' is set to 2.
