copy oracle home (8.1.7) from AIX 5.3 server to another same Aix 5.3 server same kernel

have oracle home 8.1.7 AIX 5.3 prd server  and have test serverAIX 5.3  with oracle home 8.1.7 ..for testing purpose want to copy oraclehome form prd server to test server (taking copy to tape) and restore on test server oraclehome.   Question is ..will it work out  with out any problem . or do you need relinking..
