Multi Accounting Period Concept

Dear Friends,

As our business requirement i need to create 22 post dated cheques in Oracle Payables for rental purpose. As client said, i need to create 22 PDC as well as 22 Standard Invoices, GL dates should be in future dates.

I heard that there is one functionality in R12 for this types of rental concept that is called Multi Accounting Concepts. Can anyone please provide if any documentation.
