When machine restarts the i can not login into Database

Hello to all,

At One of my site i am facing one problem that

When we restart the machine and after restart when we log in to Oracle database through SQLPLUS at that time i am getting error

"Oracle shutdown in progress".....

And when we stop and start the Oracle service manually after that we can log in to oracle database.

Here Oracle service is Automatic.

When i saw the alert log of that machine at that time i got below error

"ora-1507 signalled during alter database close normal"

so what this error indicates means what are the possible reasons to occure this problem during the database close operation ?
