Can ignore timezone version when upgrade to 11.1.0.6 ?

 Hi all, 

   I have been used 9.2.0.4 on AIX 5.3 64 bit.

  

   I am going to upgrade to 11gR1 (11.1.0.6) 64 bit on AIX 6.1

   Reference to ID 429825.1 and because of my timezone version is 1 so I must upgrade to 4. And from ID 829731.1, I updated timezone to 4 success.

   And after that, I check functions of my application. But there is one function can not run with this timezone version. When I rollback with timezone is 1, it's OK !

   So my question is if upgrade to 11.1.0.6, I can ignore timezone version ?
