Project on Hold

Hi,

I have created 1 Project in Project Management, because of some reasons the project is on hold and I want to stop any transaction against this project eg. Purchasing, material receiving, WIP job creation, finance transactions. Then how it can be done? Is there any set up/ process in projects by which it can be acheived?
