How to implement Rate List Line Item Effective Dates?

Hi,
currently, Rate Lists can have Effective Dates. But Rate List Line Items do not have Effective From and Effective To columns.

Price List Line Items have Effective Dates and you can add one product multiple times with different Effective Dates. We would like to have this feature also available for Rate List Items, so that you can add one one Resource multiple times to a Rate List having different Effective Dates.

Any suggestions how to realize it?
