Pre-Upgrade Steps for iProcurement

Hello All,

We are upgrading from 11.5.10 to R12.1.3 and need info on the catalog/iproc pre-upgrade steps.  Can we run the iproc catalog pre-upgrade a few days before the actual R12 upgrade?  What does this job do and how does it impact users entering reqs in iproc if upgraded early.
