Editing Item attributes of All items in Item Master

 Dear All,I will like to modify the "Allow Description Update" field  of all the items in the Item Master Organization. I want to allow users to be able to update the item description during the creation of Requisitions and Purchase orders.
Right now, do this item by item. Is there a way i can do this so that the changes can be effected on all the items in the item Master organization.
