Startegy for fixed Assets Conversion

Hi,
We are in process of converting  fixed assets data from Legacy System.

June-2012 is the current depreciation period  and we never ran depreciation till now in the books.

we have loaded couple of assets  with open NBV value and never uploaded accumulated depreciation amount, once the data is loaded
assets were created successfully and accumulated depreciation is calculated correctly but not YTD .
YTD is also showing the same value as Accumulated  depreciationwhich is wrong.

December 1st week is the go live, we plan cutt date for data as 30-NOV-2012.

Any advices and suggestions on the approach is highly appreciated.
