R12 Payables overpayment interface to Receivables

Does Oracle Payables have standard functionality to interface overpayments (Credits) into Oracle Receivables to establish a receivable for collection?

I am aware of the flip side to send a credit due to a customer into Payables to remit the funds but am not sure if Payables has this functionality to AR.
