StorageTek product EOS(end of support)date change

Hello,

I remember that VSM4 will be EOS in 2014, T9940B will be EOS in 2013,however in around summer this year, it is discussed that a new support policy is in effective that no product will have a EOS date, Oralce can provide parts if it can find to support hardware, that means unlimited support life for VSM4 and T9940B, is it true? Where can I find this informaiton?
