R12 : Best Practises to Customise a standard 'Java Concurrent Program' ?

Hi There,

We have a requirement to customise a standard report :Account Analysis Report (XLAAARPT).

We will be creating a replica of this standard report .

We need to know the best practises suggested by Oracle to work on

1. Java Concurrent Program

2. Modifying the standard Java Code used by  " Java Concurrent Program"

3.How to find details for the standard APIs used by the program e.g: oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.CpContext .

4.What tools should be used for modifying the java code (class file) ?
