Expected Behaviour of Multiselect Picklist Type Field During the Lead Conversion?

Hello altogether,

we are about to adjust our lead conversion assignment rules and facing the problem, that multiselect picklist type field is not provided neither in the list of fields for contact, nor for account or opportunity.

Does anybody have any information confirming and/or explaining this behaviour?
