Inventory Management - Use of Primary Location

Although, in JDE the Primary Location is used as a non-physical location, I wonder what would be the impact to my inventory accuracy if using the primary location to represent a physical location?

Since we're working in a manufacturing environment, how would the impact be on WO Parts List backflushing?

Is there any specific Branch/Plant Constant setup that matches this business scenario?
