IDEAS! Meters associated to activities?

Hello,

Meters are associated to assets, and they could be mandatory or not when you complete a Work Order.

Now, I have a new study case:

Some ACTIVITIES include specific meters reading. Could I associate meters to activities?

If I associate a meter to an asset, I'll see all of them when I complete a WO. I wouldn't like to see every time I complete a Work Order all meters!

Is there a way to associate meters to activities?

Other option I was thinking about is using QUALITY PLANS, but I think the setup could be more "complicated" (more steps, and we have a lot of InvOrg). AND, I have API/INTERFACE to upload reading meters but not to upload QualityPlans...
