OTL: Proration- can we prorate number of hours to 40 per week?
We do work on Government Projects and there's a requirement to prorate actual hours worked to 40. Engineers submit their timecards using Oracle Time and Labor module.Upon
inputting times they ensure the total number of hours worked is equals
to 40 hours. In reality they might have worked 60 hours a week, but due
to contractual agreements and labor rules they prorate hours to 40. The
audit wants to see how do engineers prorate. Is there a way to capture
the actual hours in OTL and use formulas to prorate hours to make it 40.
