dba approach to setup R12 punchouts in iprocurement

 Hi All,
I am looking for a step by step approach and  metalink note to setup punchouts in R12 financials new imlementation.

Let me know whether DMZ is  a must   for setting up Punchouts.  Also how to add a new DMZ node, I have a DMZ server ready and I have copied all the applications file system form webtier to DMZ tier.

Please guide me through the process and let me know useful links.
