Priority: Order Entry availability check or Item Branch availability check
Order Entry availability check or Item Branch availability check??
I need to have the line in backorder for some iterms as soon as the line is entered in the Sales Order entry program. To do that, I have setup the Cat code 5 of the item = MAN to indicate manual allocation. Consequently, when I create an order for this item, the line goes to backorder automatically.
However, the system checks availability anyway... when I know the lne will go to bakcorder.... How can I avoid this?? Kindly note I cannot modify the Item Master setup, Item Branch set up (because I need this verification for other program) and I cannot disable the Processing option in Order entry program because the availability and backorder should be check when I enter other items...
