Fixed Assets of the same category split into different assets where the asset cost differs based on

 Hi All,
We have a business requirement where we will buy servers which fall in the same category of assets in multiple units but the cost vary based on the varying sales tax.

How can we split the assets using the split functionality in Oracle Assets because if we split the assets it will evenly distribute the cost to each of the unit and if we go to each split asset individually and change the cost,
still the Original cost will show the same cost and the change in the cost will be shown in the current cost.

For Ex - if we buy 5 servers which fall into the asset category of Computers.Servers and each server cost 10,000 USD but the sales tax vary and due to which the total asset cost of each server also varies.  If we add the sales tax to the asset cost and split the assets in the Oracle assets module, the system will split them into 5 different units and also distribute the cost evenly.  Even after splitting the assets, if we go to each asset and change the cost based on the varying sales tax, but still the original cost

Howdy, Stranger!
