dropping ASM disk from ASM Normal redundancy Diskgroup containing <vote/ocr> Files

Hi All,
Il have the following behavious, and i need to know if it's expected or not:

ASM diskgroup called OCRVOTE with normal redundancy and 3 DISKs (Disk1/2/3)

When i executehe following command
Alter diskgroup ocrvote drop disk DISK1  (For example), then the state of Disk1 remain "DROPPING" and Not "FORMER" as i expected?

Please advise if it' s work as design (or i'm misleading some things/understood)
