.OUI invalid directory on OEL6

Linux install of DB11GR2

Problem Description
---------------------------------------------------
I use the latest DB11GR2 64-bit release for Oracle Linux on a 64-bit server but OUI does not start up under Xterm (I am using MobXterm) from remote laptop with the error : line 59 : .oui invalid file or directory
and indeed there is no .oui directory in /database/install directory of DVD

If I copy the .oui directory from the 32-bit version DVD I get another error :
/database/stage/components/oracle.jdk directory doesn't exist and indeed it only exists in the 32-bit version.
With the 32-bit version I can go all the way through the OUI installation and it stops just before the architecture validation when he tells me the server is 64-bit and my version is 32-bit which I am aware of and of course the installation is aborted. But why does my 64-bit installation doesn't even start up the GUI of OUI on a 64-bit server !

Howdy, Stranger!
