About AME and Purchasing Hierarchy

Hello,

I have 4 approval levels:

LEVEL1: Requester

LEVEL2. Project Manager

LEVEL3. Department Manager

LEVEL4. Purchase Manager

and have to implement AME to Purchase Requisitions because I can't setup "PROJECT MANAGER" in the Purchasing Hierarchy because it depends on the Project (we are implementing Project Modules too).

When LEVEL2 aproves, I have to go to the Department Manager and Purchase Manager, that THEY ARE in the Purchasing Hierarchy (I can use the "standard" approvement functionality).

My question is:

Could I use AME just for "Search" level2 and then "call" to the standard hierarchy??
