ASM on SAN

Hello folks

We are starting on a project to configure 2 node 11g RAC database using SAN for storage (ASM with external redundancy)
We have been told that the SAN will NOT be using RAID and it will use dual parity drives with 2 offline spares (So we will have striping)
Assuming that there will be 18 available drives in SAN with 146 GB each, the capacity of SAN would be 2628 GB
From this 2.6 TB volume, we will create 3 LUNS to be used for 3 ASM disk groups (+FRA, +DATA and +ARC)

Now our question is that since we cannot PICK and CHOSE the physical drives that would be part of each of the 3 LUNS, would not
