Configured Work Orders
We have Configured items that contain configured items. Through sales order entry a work order header gets created for the Parent and headers also get created for the child work orders. The child work orders refer back to the parent work order and the parent's sales order. During the initial creation normal back scheduling occurs aligning the childrens request date to the parents start date.
When a DRQJ date change is made to the sales order , the parent work order is updated as expected, however, the child work orders are not and retain the original back schedule requested and start dates.
