8706842 & 9553921 - Unable to access db after - adelink fails for FA - Linux x86-64

Followed metalink notes for applying the Patch 9553921, applied following patches as well pre-requisite/ co-requisite 8706842 & applied Patch
. After patch is applied successfully, unable to start the applications as adalnctl.sh: exiting with status 1.
Ran autoconfig and still getting these errors for database login using sqlplus
ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed - apps user
ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact - oracle user

Found that patching for 9553921 ran successfully, but it was path number 88706842 which gave relink errors.
 Uploaded log file for 88706842, tried adrelink and relink failed again with errors.
 Uploaded adrelink and 88706842 logs.
