Hi All,
I hope this is the right forum for this discussion and if it is not,please suggest the right one.

I am a newbie to the Planning modules so excuse me for the basic questions. 

When I read the docs I see that there are 3 different planning methods MPS, MRP and SCP. 

Firstly I created an item "testitem"and specified the mrp planning method of MPS (in the Inventory => MPS/MRP Planning tab).

Now from the Material Planner responsibility, I created an MPS plan "testplan",provided the above item "testitem" and created an entry and launched the Planning processes,which kicked off the set "Launch MPS Planning Processes".
