CUSTOM.pll & R12 upgrade

All,
We did not moved the CUSTOM.pll from 11i to R12 instance after upgradation because this was a part of Customization testing

I have the following question over the same.

 ·         Do we needs to move the 11i  version of CUSTOM.pll to R12 OR we need to embedded the customization in R12 CUSTOM.pll. I am asking this because there are changes in R12 with respect to FORMS and other objects, so we may need to re-write those.

Wil Will Appreciate inputs from experts what they did during their upgradation.
