Site Alerts within My Oracle Support

There are times when My Oracle Support undergoes system updates or maintenance which may effect the support portal’s availability.  These planned outages are scheduled in advance and Oracle communicates outage information in the Site Alerts region.  This region is located in the upper left of Dashboard tab in My Oracle Support.  When there are no planned outages, an empty Site Alerts region appears momentarily (in the same physical location) and only at initial log-in.  

Let’s look at an alert by clicking on one of the links in this region. 

 

A new window opens and contains detailed outage information including date, time zone, purpose, duration, and effected functionality.
