Partitioning, tablespaces and big file

Hi,
Using Oracle 11.2.0.2 on AIX with datafiles on ASM. We have a data warehouse with patitioning defined (Range-Hash). Considering that disks provided to ASM are LUNs from a SAN.

Is there a point from a performance/contention/recovery to spread partitions on different tablespaces or could we have the whole 300GB partitioned fact table on a single big file tablespace?
