Autoinvoice accounting rule and invoicing rule

Is it mandatory to pass accounting rule id in AR Interface table if Invoicing rule is passed for successful import by Autoinvoice program?.If we just pass invoicing rule,and leave accounting rule blank in AR interface table, doesn't Autoinvoice derive the accounting rule from inventory item?.

When pass invoicing rule id and if I leave accounting rule id blank, Autoinvoice fails to import order line. It throws below error

Errors: 1) Please supply both an invoicing rule and an accounting rule for this invoice.
