Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Hi All,

Kindly clarify the steps of cloning and restoring oracle db and apps.

Is this the correct way.

1. Shut down apps

2. run apps autoconfig

3. run db autoconfig

4. shut down db

5. run apps preclone

6. run db preclone

7. zip db and apps

8. run postclone on db

9. run postclone in apps

Kindly clarify the steps.
