Patch 12587813:R12.FND.B - failed with Relink of module "WICMLX" failed. error

VPC Team member opened this thread for the customer.

While applying the patch 12587813, we received the below error

Relink of module "WICMLX" failed. error while applying patch 12587813

See error messages above (also recorded in log file) for possible reasons for the failure.  Also, please check that the Unix userid running adrelink has read, write, and execute permissions on the directory /u01/oracle/PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/wip/12.0.0/bin,

and that there is sufficient space remaining on the disk partition containing your Oracle Applications installation.

 copying /u01/oracle/PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/ad/12.0.0/bin/adshell.pl to /u01/oracle/PROD/apps/apps_st/appl/ad/12.0.0/bintmp/adshell.pl
